Many of my first-time clients that are in the 8th and 9th grade choose the Silver package.  As I work with them through their high school careers, they stay with the Silver or upgrade to the Gold during their junior or senior year.  My first-time 10th graders and sometimes my 11th graders tend to purchase the Gold package depending upon how much college planning work they have accomplished independently.   The majority of my first-time 11th and 12th graders will purchase the Platinum or VIP Elite because of the extensive work we do on their college selection, scholarship search, multiple essay reviews, college applications polish, and helping the parents complete their financial aid forms,   

Yes, you can purchase another plan with the hours you think you might need.  For example, you might purchase the Gold package as a junior and find that you might need additional help after using up all the hours in the original Gold Plan.  You then can discuss with Ryan how many more hours you might need and purchase a new plan with the corresponding hours.  It is recommended that you purchase the plan with a larger number of hours that fits your budget initially because you will save money!  The more hours you initially purchase, the cost per hour goes down.

While it is possible, it is very unlikely.  Ryan and his team are here to help you through the entire college planning process.  You can fill any unused hours with Ryan by comparing your financial aid award letters, getting help with writing appeal letters, planning how you are going to pay for college, discussing the pros and cons of your loan options, practice interviewing, additional essay reviews, financial aid forms assistance, scholarship search, etc.  As you can see, we can always assist you in this complicated and confusing process to make sure you are making the best decision possible.
